Our school council are at the forefront of the pupils voice. They took the lead in our whole school assembly to discuss the rights of a child and to explain how the children at Lyngford Park primary school can ensure their voices are heard.
At Lyngford Park we take as many opportunities as we can to listen to the views of our pupils.
We do this both informally and formally through surveys and questionnaires as well as school council meetings.
The biggest survey we use is called P.A.S.S. (Pupils' Attitudes to Self and School). This is an online survey taken by individual pupils once a year. The reports we get back tell us how the children are feeling about different aspects of school life and help us to put in place whole school changes that will make them feel better.
