EarlyEarly Years Teacher – Maternity Cover


Start:            April 2018 (Fixed term – 1 year)

Hours:           Part Time – 2 days a week

Salary range: M1-M3


Our Ofsted judged “Good” Foundation Unit is looking to appoint an excellent Early Years teacher from April 2018 to cover 2 days a week in our nursery class. You will be joining a successful, committed, enthusiastic and hardworking team in an open plan setting whose provision caters for children from 2 years and 6 months to 5 years old.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of teaching assistants and working within an Early Years team of 4 teachers.


Do you have:

  • The ability to demonstrate very good/outstanding classroom practice
  • Proven experience within a successful EYFS setting with particular reference to Pre-school aged children.
  • High expectations for children's learning, behaviour and a commitment to all pupils achieving success
  • A belief in inclusive education for all pupils
  • Energy, enthusiasm and a positive approach to developing a stimulating & creative curriculum and classroom.
