About Us

Lyngford Park Primary school and nursery was built in 1969 and serves the Lyngford and Priorswood community in north Taunton. We are part of the Richard Huish Trust, joining in January 2021, which sponsors a number of schools in the Taunton area and is linked to Richard Huish College.

Richard Huish’s vision is to deliver the best possible educational outcomes. It aims to reduce the attainment gap for disadvantaged pupils and inspire pupils to reach their full potential in both academic and non-academic areas, enabling them to learn, flourish and aim high.

We are committed to providing a values based primary and nursery school at the heart of our community, striving for excellence, enabling our children to achieve their highest potential in all areas of the curriculum.
