Faye Forsyth- Chair of Governors
I have been a Parent Governor at Lyngford Park for 4 years and now have recently taken on the role of Chair of Governors.
I am a parent with children in both key stages of the school, as well as the pre-school. This gives me a good all-round perspective and interest in the school being the best it can be, and helps support my role of Chair of Governors where I can offer fair parent feedback and support, as well as being able to be a critical friend to the school. Being a Governor is important to me as I truly care about the education children receive and being passionate about Lyngford Park, I take great pride in its achievements to date. I enjoy being able to offer support through the role of Chair, with the support of a dedicated, diverse, skilled Governing Board along side me.
Mrs Angela Bolitho - Co-Opted Governor
I work locally for the Somerset West and Taunton Council as a Community Engagement Lead with other agencies to support the area and I co-ordinate the North Taunton One Team. I hope my knowledge of the area is beneficial to the governing body and the school. I have previously worked as a primary school Head teacher in Bristol and Weston-super-Mare. I have a 24 year old son who is working locally and we live together with our two dogs! I am so proud to be a Governor of such a wonderful school and I really want to support Mrs Loader and the staff in my role as a Governor.
I have been a Governor at Lyngford Park for 8 years. I started as a parent Governor and now I am a co-opted Governor. I work as a financial manager in a local secondary school and through this can bring a lot of knowledge to the school. Over the years I have been a Safeguarding Governor and have had regular visits to the school to monitor the safeguarding procedures. I have had a child go through Lyngford Park and know how important a well rounded education is for each and every pupil. I am keen to continue to work with Lyngford Park to bring the school forward and enhance children's learning.
