School Uniform

We like children to wear a red school cardigan, jumper or sweatshirt with a white shirt, polo shirt or blouse.  Girls should wear a pinafore dress, skirt or trousers in dark grey or black and boys should wear shorts or trousers.

In the summer months a red and white check dress is a most acceptable alternative.

School trousers for both girls and boys should be in black or grey. Jeans, tracksuit trousers and other casual wear are not acceptable.

Sensible and strong black school shoes should be worn. High heels, platforms, and trainers are not acceptable.

Our sweatshirts with the embroidered school logo on are available at the South West Schoolwear shop in East Reach, Taunton. Many of the children wear them and they find them warm, practical and smart.

For PE, children should be provided with a plain white t-shirt, black shorts, daps and a tracksuit can be worn in the winter.  After PE the children will change back into school uniform before going home.

Make-up and jewellery should not be worn at school. Those with pierced ears are asked to wear small plain earrings.

All items of clothing (including coats and shoes)

need to be clearly marked with your child’s name.
