Pupils were joined by parents and friends as they broke off from lessons at the end of the school day at Lyngford Park Primary School, to enjoy the school fayre. There were plenty of stalls and activities to enjoy at the event organised by the recently reformed Parent, Teachers and Friends Association at the Richard Huish Trust school.

A spokesperson said: “Thank you so much to all the children and parents who joined our PTFA fayre. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with plenty of smiles, laughter and fun. Thank you to all the stall holders that joined us and to everyone who took the time to donate bottles, prizes, cakes and their time.”

The PTFA’s Kate Avery said: “Lyngford Park Primary School has recently had a new head teacher, Nick Arnold, and since then the school has made many improvements. We have also set up a new PTFA and this was our first summer fayre.”
