About the School
Lyngford Park Primary School & Nursery currently has 9 classes from Reception to Year 6, with 1 class per year group, with 2 classes in Year 5. We also have a Nursery on site, open for 49 weeks a year with spaces for children aged 2-4 years. Our grounds are wonderfully extensive which help serve our children across 2 large estates.
Our School & Nursery include:
- Large main hall which has a multi-use (PE, Wrap Around care, meals…)
- Sensory room for children with additional needs.
- Thrive / ELSA room for children to receive quality support.
- A Senior Mental Health Lead who works all year round, supporting our families and children from our school community.
- A well-stocked and up to date library.
- Large Reception classroom with large outdoor area for children to explore.
- Office and meeting spaces.
- Nursery provision with large outdoor area, linked with Reception to help children to develop their communication skills.
- Wraparound care for Breakfast and After School (8am and until 5.45pm).
- Extensive Playground Spaces and large environmental areas.
- Over 25 different types of trees for children to enjoy when doing Science.
- Pond for children to learn about this interesting habitat.
- Extensive bike and scooter racks to encourage families not to use cars.
- Large and well-resourced Forest School, with a canopy and fire pit.
- From January 2027, SEND Pod for up to 8 children, and by September 2028, there will be 3 classes for up to 24 children (8 in each). Each classroom has an enclosed, safe outdoor environment for children to enjoy.
